Hats, scarves, cards and sweaters

I really have been quite busy since my last post, and I can only apologise for the time it has taken me to get around to posting!

As you can see from the above photo mosaic, I have bought a few balls of wool, with which I have knitted a hat and bag (and have started on a cat), finished the jumper I started with the wool I'd bought in my last post, worked a bit more on the 193 Morgan for my father-in-law and stitched a couple of rather striking cards. Unfortunately, these were sympathy cards for my aunts following the death of my uncle, the last of my Dad's brothers. They are quite pretty though, and at some point I will certainly think about stitching them as a triptych for the house or as a present for someone...

I have also - and at long last - finished the peg bag! It is now fully operational, so we can stop juggling with the pegs when we hang out the washing and stop using that horrible carrier bag. It's about time too! I have yet to line the halter-neck top I knitted, but I will get to that!

I have started on a pair of fingerless gloves for a family friend who fell in love with my Mum's Christmas present. No pictures, I'm afraid, because it's not the best yarn to work with for these gloves and I'm getting a bit frustrated with it to be honest.

So this week I hope to finish the gloves, the cat and the 1939 Morgan, stitch a thank you card and do a bit more of the scarf I have started to match the Blueberry Beanie that I have fallen in love with. Am I trying to do too much? Maybe, but I think I'd rather be doing a bit too much craft-wise than worrying about my little brother (it's a long story, and I may or may not be able to tell you more in April).

Anyway, until next time, happily anticipate the spring and keep crafting!
