I have had quite an exciting week, and I'm sorry I'm a few days late with this post; it really has been quite hectic here!

I finally started stitching Wendy Darker's Magical Snowman design that I've been harping on about, but have only managed four days' work on it so far, as I had to put it on hold while I made a birthday card for my sister (photos to follow next time) and started a project for the Feeling Stitchy Rainbow of Stitches competition, which I have to finish before the end of the month. Which is next week. Hmmm...

I have also shared some photos of my portfolio so far. Not a lot of info here, but I'm pleased with my progress to date.

The reason the week has been so hectic is that we have finally been rewarded for our patience with a house! We know the road name, but not the number, and don't have a date on which to move yet, but we hope it will be imminent! Therefore, in view of the amount of packing we have to do, in probably a short amount of time, I might be absent from here and my other blog for a while. Don't worry: I will be back!
