I am so pleased that I have finished Wendy's Mystery Birthday Project in time for her birthday. It took me 55 hours and 45 minutes to stitch over the course of a month, and I have used approximately 50 metres of metallic thread. I am so pleased with the results that I don't want to part with it! But I will - I have wrapped it ready for collection later today.

Isn't Issy's new Bella bookmark lovely? She is very pleased with it :-)

Current WIP is "Fairy Tale" for Issy's birthday (no photos until she's opened it I'm afraid) and next in the queue is Wendy Darker's Magical Snowman from Cross Stitch Gold. I'm looking forward to this one for several reasons: I haven't stitched on of her designs before; I love Christmas designs; and I love colourful designs!

I have bought a large hard-cover sketch book which I am going to use as a portfolio/scrapbook type thing. I dyed five pieces of fabric back in October and planned to stitch a butterfly on one of them. Since I can't draw a butterfly, I have decided to do a flower in stead, and I'm going to plan it in my new portfolio. Once I have some work to show I will share some photos!
