Custom My Little Pony: Daring Do!

We made a Daring Do My Little Pony
from, you guessed it...a Crystal Empire Rainbow Sprint!
Here's basically the before and following:

Remember a while back we did our first pony:
Tropical Mist

I know how some individuals like to *pin* a streamlined tutorial...so
Here's the fundamental instructions:

Here's what you may want:
Pony, scissors, oven bake clay...paint.
Get out your pony...
And excitement off her hair.
Use a mild bodyweight sand paper and dust off her cutie mark.

Insert a strip of oven bake clay above her tufts of hair...

Mold and sculpt the hair to your preferred type!

And the tail.
I formed at the desk and then inserted into tail gap...

As soon as molded, I set her on a baking tray and cooked her!
Bake in accordance to package recommendations.
We baked her for twenty five minutes at 275* F.
get rid of from oven and permit amazing completely,
about 30 minutes.
All right, she is all set to paint!

Now is the time to launch all your inner creativity and
make the pony of your or your child's desires!
Combined up a khaki/orange shade of paint and cautiously
painted her, leaving her eyes.

she needed a pair layers...be affected person!

Black hair...

Gray stripes in the hair...

Her little olive green explorer shirt...

And last but not least, painting on the cutie mark compass rose!

Following you might be pleased with the paint,
use some spray obvious coat gloss finish to end her off.
We utilized some spray lacquer we experienced in the garage...just as prolonged as it really is clear!

Badly fit hat, but what ever!

Daring Do!
And all the Pony close friends have been so pleased to lastly
satisfy her!  Specially Rainbow Dash!

  2. Awesome. My owner is has made her first 2 custom brushables, and she was planning on to make their names and tails out of oven bake clay. Woo it looks like it is safe to put brushables with clay on them in the oven.
